(1) The overall appearance of a very well maintained community, our homeowners take pride in their homes, with the personal care of our homeowners you could find some of the nicest landscaped home in Elyria. (2) Security; We have 2 men who patrol our community, they also live in Twin Lakes so they can be out and about at any time, they are also accessible to our homeowners as needed and being familiar with the homeowners they can easily detect if something is out of place, we also have a neighborhood watch this encourages our homeowners to take an active part in helping to keeping an eye out for anything out of place. (3) Our homeowners have activities in our community room, allowing them the opportunity to get together and get to know one another, through Bingo, Pot Lucks, Bible Studies, Dining out and other monthly events, you can also come out and be part of the activity committee planning the events, the committee is also looking at doing some bus trips. (4) Some people think that with a Manufactured home the lots are all very tight and you have no space. Our average lot size is comparable to a city lot, sometimes our lots are even larger, allowing our homeowners to enjoy gardening, landscaping, decks, sunrooms and patios. With Twin Lake Homes most people now have the opportunity to enjoy life. Having homes from 907 Square Feet up to 2000 Square feet we can offer a home that will fit the needs of your family. As you can see Twin Lake Homes has more to offer than only the average home; below you can read about what some of our homeowners have to say about our community and what they think about their homes. |

There was an old saying that goes like this, if you build a home right the first time; you don't have to spend so much time in servicing that home, this save time in service and makes for a more satisfied homeowner. We know you can get more referrals from a satisfied homebuyer than a non- satisfied homeowner & we like referrals. We start with the pier print and utility plan for each new home allowing us to set our utility drops according to each home, this avoids running water lines and sewer lines long distances allowing them to have a direct drop into the foundation, This will help prevent freeze up's in the cold winters, then we set our foundation with 6 inches of slag and 6 inches of concrete making our foundations 1 foot thick. Some people say this is over done, however it goes back to doing it right the first time. We then secure the home to the concrete, we also secure our skirting to the concrete with albumin screws making for a tight fit because the albumin screws instead of steel to avoid them rusting out over time, with the heat working properly in your home and the skirting tightly in place this will reduce concern as the cold winters set in.
The saving come in through labor and material and through the building process, they have turned the building process into a science. When building the same floorplans, they naturally will be able to build the home in less time, saving on the overall cost of labor with no sub-contractors they know exactly what they are doing with no re-training required, plus if you are constantly doing a certain job you are less apt to waste material, more savings, and having the material in a controlled environment your material is protected and not exposed to the weather, plus when our builder buys in baulk he can always get a bigger saving that is passed on to our buyers.
